WORK

REAL PROBLEMS. PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS.

Signal Five work starts with something that needs to work better. Here are two recent examples of what that looks like in practice.

SELECTED WORK

THE WORK LOOKS DIFFERENT BECAUSE THE PROBLEM IS DIFFERENT.

FORT LAUDERDALE FIRE MUSEUM

Website, content + volunteer systems

I work with the Fort Lauderdale Fire and Safety Museum on its website, blog, social media, and some of the behind-the-scenes systems that help a small organization keep moving. That has included creating a content guide for Open House communications and building a volunteer welcome system that makes onboarding easier and more consistent.

The work continues to evolve. I’m currently developing projects for the museum’s 100th birthday, including a coloring book and video. I also volunteer at the museum and serve as its Secretary, so I know the organization and its work from the inside.

RED’S SHED

Social media + ongoing communications

Since Red’s Shed reopened in Jacksonville, Missouri, I’ve managed its ongoing social media presence, creating content around events, live music, food, and the everyday personality of the business. The work is not just about keeping the pages active. It’s about creating content people respond to, share, comment on, and engage with, while making sure the online presence reflects what’s actually happening at the Shed.

It’s an ongoing relationship rather than a one-time campaign. The goal is to keep the content current, recognizable, and connected to the community, while giving people a reason to keep paying attention and come back.

HAVE SOMETHING THAT NEEDS WORK?

LET’S TALK ABOUT IT.

Start with what’s getting in the way.
